Hello, I have been coaching for 15 years, this is my 3 year at DCA and second as head coach. I coach because young men and women need to step into their destiny as God's image. I want to partner with them on their road for this season of life. Athletics is sacramental "…the ceremonial acting out of the profane in order to show forth its sacredness." A life lived is what God wants.

This is coach Welch’s third stint coaching football at DCA (1997-1999, 2009-2015, and 2018-).   When Todd wasn’t coaching at Dayspring he spent several years coaching his boys through their Pee Wee football years and at Greeley Central with Coach Fusco.  He is honored that Dayspring gave him his first coaching job after graduating from college where he earned a minor in coaching football from Wayne State College in Nebraska.  Todd brings his 20+ years of coaching experience as he coordinates the Defense, coaches the Offensive Line, and Assists Coach Fusco in his Head Coaching role.  Todd also directs the Drama Department here at Dayspring and is the Teaching Elder of Waypoints Faith Community.  He and his wife Lindy have two married boys (CJ and his wife Mandi, Ben and his wife Dagny).  He is expecting his first grandchild this season.
